General
Every IQ actuator order
is dispatched with Setting Tools to allow site commissioning, adjustment and
interrogation. IQ Insight includes a "Virtual" Setting Tool that
mimics the action of the physical Setting Tool, allowing the same functionality
but "on screen". The Virtual Setting Tool page includes a virtual
IQ display to allow Setting Tool operation to be followed on screen.
Note. The Virtual
Setting Tool can only be used when connected to a IQ actuator.

Update
Use the update control to display the current IQ indication screen.

IQ Password
Get Loads the Current IQ Setting procedure protection password into
the data box.
Set The password
can be changed. Highlight the value in the data box and type in the required
new password. Password must be within the range 00 - FF hexidecimal.
Note
The password is only active when using the IQ Setting Tool (or Virtual Setting
Tool) Refewr to Publication E170E
IQ Insight can be used to change IQ settings without requiring the password
to be entered.

Virtual
Setting Tool Controls
Move the mouse to over
the Tool buttons. The pointer will change into a hand icon. Left click on
the required setting tool control:
Display the next function down in the IQ setting procedure
Display the next function across in the IQ setting procedure
Decrease/change displayed functions value or option setting
Increase/change displayed functions value or option setting
Enter displayed value or option setting
The display will automatically
update as Setting Tool control buttons are operated.
Infra Red Control (when
enabled)
Open actuator
close actuator
Stop actuator
Note. When IQ
operation takes place the display does not automatically update.
